Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel and its entire staff are pleased to announce that their General Manager, Mr. Rauf Malik has recently received the “Best General Manager 2006 Award” from Shanghai Jinjiang International Hotels in acknowledgment of his outstanding managerial performance in 2006.

Since his arrival just one year ago, Mr. Malik has achieved a full turn-around for the hotel resulting in higher profits and overall greater employee and guest satisfaction.

In addition, his introduction of new and innovative F&B ideas resulted in several high-profile events throughout the year!

Mr. Malik says, “I’m absolutely beaming with pride to have received such an honor. But so many factors have contributed to the success of our hotel. I never could have accomplished so much without the hard work of my ‘family of associates’ and never-ending support of the owners. I only see this as the beginning for Renaissance Yangtze. I’m excited to see what’s in store for 2007!”
