Goget has been appointed to helm The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya as general manager. The 450-room resort, which is the first China resort in the company, is slated for a December 2007 opening in Yalong Bay, Hainan Province.

Goget began his career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in 1999 at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia, where he embarked on a 35-day General Manager Fast Track Training Program. In November that year, he was named General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Dearborn in Dearborn, Michigan and subsequently joined The Ritz-Carlton, Tyson's Corner in McLean, Virginia in the same capacity; a position he held prior to his current appointment.

Before joining The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Goget held several general manager and senior executive positions for 10 years in Dolce International, Europe; Disneyland Paris, Marriott Corporation, InterContinental Hotels Group, Sheraton Hotels, Hotel Loews Monte Carlo/Fairmont and Marco Beach Hotel and Villas in Florida. Under his stewardship, The Ritz-Carlton, Tyson's Corner was awarded "Keys to Luxury – Transient Sales Team of the Year 2005" and "Meetings and Special Events Leader of the Year for the North-east/Mid-west Region 2005." Additional recognition included "Nomination for Host Hotels and Resorts General Manager of the Year for Large Hotels" and "Host Hotels and Resorts Sales and Marketing Award for Large Hotels" both in 2004 and 2006.

Goget also lent his expertise as an opening and task force member with The Ritz-Carlton Hotels in Tokyo, Dearborn and Washington, D.C.; Euro Disney, Newport Bay Club Hotel, Paris and Marriott Harbor Beach Resort in Florida, to name a few.

Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Hotel Management from Florida International University in Miami, Florida and a degree from the College d'Enseignement Technique Hotelier in St. Amand Montrond, France, Goget was an advisory board member of the James Madison University, School of Hospitality in 2004 and 2006. He was also a guest lecturer at Virginia Tech School of Business, ESSEC/Cornell, Paris, New York University, Georgia State University and Florida International University.

The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya, with expansive views of the South China Sea is located 40 minutes from Sanya Phoenix International Airport. The resort will include 450 rooms, suites, and private villas as well as a 2,788 square meters' spa, the largest and most lavish in the region.

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai are two of Asia's most award-winning hotels. In addition to Sanya, they will be joined by five other properties now under construction in China, including: Beijing (at China Central Place, 2007), Guangzhou (2007), Shenzhen (2008); Pudong, Shanghai (2009) and Kowloon, Hong Kong (2009). China Jin Mao Group Company, Ltd. will be the owners of The Ritz-Carlton, Sanya.

The Antaeus Group was among 21 companies who attended the bidding process; the prestigious land was divided among 7 parties-Antaeus Group was one of them. The size of the new project has a value of around 0.4 billion Chinese Yuan. With this successful bidding, Antaeus Group will be a main contender for new and upcoming projects within the Peoples Republic of China.

The proposed 7 star deluxe hotel project will be build on a ground with a size of total 86.2 thousand square meter and consist of 380 deluxe suites. The new project will have a harmony between shapes, spaces, colors, textures and architectural elements-which combined gives the result of a new defined balance between comfort and vanguard design, between technology and personal touch. The building is composed of separate towers and buildings. The hotel will be supposed to be open by the year 2011. An estimated investment of 1.68 Billion Yuan is projected for finalizing the project.

Hainan Island, China’s second largest island is 30 kilometer of its southern coast. It has due to his location almost the same latitude as the southern end of Hawaii. Being located at the center of south east Asia and on the west Pacific Rim, Hainan Island is the most convenient gate from China to his southern neighbors.

Haitang Bay is located north-east from Sanya and is the key project of the Hainan Provincial government in their eleventh 5th year plan. The government and the developer will make careful use of this green islet.

The size of Haitang Bay is estimated 98.7 square kilometer.
