Sanya, China (March 27, 2008) /China Newswire/ — The award-winning Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa held its 7th beach concert successfully on 22 March 2008 starring top Singaporean singer Shaun and his band. The two-hour concert attracted over 400 guests who enjoyed the romantic ballads amidst the tropical environment and culminated with splendid fireworks. Proceeds from this event will be donated to children from Hainan who is suffering from eye disease and needs financial assistance.

Multi-talented Singaporean balladeer Shaun performed several of his popular songs including: "You Are Whom I Love Deepest", "Venetian's Tear" and "Every Time I Want to Cry Your Name" with some famous English songs for audiences. The audiences were captivated by the showmanship of Shaun and his 4 – piece band and some of Shaun's fans went onstage to perform some songs with him. The touching moment was when a couple had their engagement announced in front of the live audience.
