Beijing, China (February 4, 2008 /ChinaNewswire.com/ — Mr. Franco Io (3rd from right), general manager of JW Marriott Hotel Beijing, and associates recently visited the Beijing 2nd School of Deaf Children, donating RMB15,900 to the school for the advancement of art education.

Since December 1, 2007, in keeping with Marriott's worldwide "Spirit to Serve the Community" culture, the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing has partnered with the Beijing 2nd School for Deaf Children, providing them with opportunities to express themselves through art. All of the precious art works completed by children from the school were displayed and for sale in Asia Bistro – the all day dining restaurant at JW Marriott Beijing. As an additional show of support, for every guest who enjoys a lunch or dinner buffet in Asia Bistro until December 31, 2007, the hotel donated RMB10 from each buffet check to the school.
