Shanghai, China (December 11, 2007) /China Newswire/ — Dragonair today launched its enhanced Online Check-In service that uses a more user-friendly online platform to provide passengers with greater flexibility and added convenience.

The enhanced Online Check-In allows not just members of The Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles to check-in online 48 hours prior to flight departure, but all passengers holding electronic tickets. The service is available through Dragonair's website (www.dragonair.com) for all Dragonair and Cathay Pacific flights departing from Hong Kong, as well as selected inbound flights of the two airlines. Information on applicable flights is available on Dragonair's website.

"We are pleased to offer this enhanced, more comprehensive Online Check-In service for passengers, providing more flexibility and convenience," said Dragonair Chief Executive Officer Kenny Tang. "The new service provides seamless support for passengers and makes travel easier by saving check-in time at the airport."

The revamped Online Check-In includes features such as an interactive seat map that shows the location of galleys, toilets and other cabin features, allowing passengers to choose the seats in the location they prefer. Seat changes can be made up to 90 minutes prior to departure.

To make travel even more convenient, passengers can print their boarding pass for selected flights at home. Information on weather at various destinations is also available, as are the locations of check-in counters and special travel advisories.

"As a member of the Cathay Pacific Group, Dragonair is committed to making passengers' travel as easy, efficient and seamless as possible on both airlines," said Mr Tang. "We expect the use of our Online Check-In service to become increasingly popular, especially following the recent enhancements."

Dragonair's enhanced Online Check-In is available in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
